The national moon sighting committee says the crescent for Ramadan fasting has been sighted.
In a post on X, the committee said the sultanate had confirmed a single sighting claim.
His Eminence, Alhaji Sa’d Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto, is expected to announce the beginning of Ramadan.
