The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Prof Charles Soludo, as the winner of the just concluded gubernatorial election in Ihiala local government in Anambra.

The former governor of the apex Bank, CBN, polled a total of 8,283 votes to defeat Mr Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who garnered 2,485 votes.
In all, Soludo has secured victory in 19 of the 21 LGAs in Anambra.
