An indigenous radio broadcasting station owned by renowned gospel musician Yinka Ayefele, Fresh FM, has been gutted by fire,
The fire incident occurred on Friday night, with the cause yet to be identified.
A video of the incident circulating on social media showed flames coming out of the building housing the radio station.
Although the extent of the damage at the radio station could not immediately be ascertained, one of the staff members told The Gazette that the fire began inside one of the offices in the edifice.
“It’s pathetic as I speak with you. We are trying to reach the firefighters,” he said, pleading not to be mentioned.
