Africa’s largest industrial conglomerate, Dangote Group, has announced fresh opportunities for young Nigerian graduates under its 2026 Graduate Trainee Programme, targeting candidates in engineering, information technology, finance, and other related disciplines.

The programme, organised by Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals, is designed to equip graduates with practical industry experience through structured technical training, mentorship, and exposure to refinery operations.
According to details released by the company, the 18-month programme will provide hands-on learning opportunities for successful applicants across several operational and support units within the refinery and petrochemical business.
Eligible disciplines include Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Production Engineering, Power Engineering, Geological Sciences, Laboratory Sciences, Biochemistry, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, and Information Technology.
Applicants are expected to possess a minimum of Second Class Lower for university graduates or Upper Credit for HND holders, while candidates must not be above 28 years old by May 31, 2026.
Dangote said the initiative forms part of its broader commitment to developing local talent and strengthening Nigeria’s industrial workforce. Selected trainees will gain experience in refinery operations, technical support systems, maintenance, laboratory analysis, business support services, and IT operations.
