NELFUND Beneficiaries Donate ₦10.7m for Tinubu’s 2027 Interest Form

Beneficiaries of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) in Anambra State have donated ₦10.7 million towards the purchase of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 expression of interest form, while also endorsing him for a second term in office.

The students, who gathered at the Igbariam campus of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, said the gesture was in appreciation of the Federal Government’s student loan initiative and other youth-focused policies introduced under Tinubu’s administration.

According to the Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Council in Anambra State, Ifeanyichukwu Chukwuemeka, the beneficiaries collectively contributed ₦10,735,500 to support the President’s 2027 ambition. He described the donation as a symbolic expression of gratitude for reforms that have improved access to tertiary education and reduced financial burdens on students.

The students also commended Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, for his support for education and student development in the state. They further acknowledged businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, alongside leaders of the City Boys Movement, for their contributions to youth mobilisation and empowerment.

Some student union leaders and political stakeholders were present during the presentation ceremony held on Friday.
