The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the names of aspirants disqualified from participating in the party’s National Assembly primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The ruling party disclosed that the affected aspirants were marked “not cleared” following its screening exercise conducted by party committees in line with established guidelines and procedures. The announcement was contained in a statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

The APC, however, did not state specific reasons for the disqualification of the affected aspirants. Political observers say the development may intensify internal party tensions in some states ahead of the primaries.
