The 2026 FIFA World Cup African qualifiers continued on Tuesday with several decisive fixtures across the continent.

Group B
In Diamniadio, Senegal were set to host Mauritania at 19:00 GMT, while the Democratic Republic of Congo faced Sudan in Kinshasa at the same time.
Group C
South Africa dominated Rwanda with a 3–0 victory in Mbombela, thanks to goals from Mbatha (5’), Appollis (26’), and Makgopa (72’).
In Uyo, Nigeria cruised past Benin with a commanding 4–0 win, as Victor Osimhen scored a hat-trick (3’, 37’, 51’) before Onyeka sealed the victory in stoppage time (90+1’).
Group E
Morocco were scheduled to play Congo Brazzaville in Rabat at 19:00 GMT.
Group F
In Saint-Pierre, Mauritius, Gambia delivered an emphatic 7–0 win over Seychelles. Sidibeh (2’, 46’), Manneh (24’, 67’, 75’), and Barrow (47’, 52’) were all on target for the visitors.
Elsewhere, Gabon were set to meet Burundi in Franceville, while Ivory Coast prepared to host Kenya in Abidjan, both at 19:00 GMT.
Group G
Guinea and Botswana played out a 2–2 draw in Casablanca. Boy (7’) and Mohutsiwa (45+2’) scored for Botswana, while Traore (19’) and Balde (35’) found the net for Guinea.
In Oran, Mozambique edged Somalia 1–0 through Catamo’s early strike (6’).
Meanwhile, Algeria came from behind in Tizi Ouzou to defeat Uganda 2–1, with Amoura converting two late penalties (81’, 90+9’) after Mukwala’s sixth-minute opener.
