The kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced the sighting of the Shawwal cresent today, the 29th day of Ramadan and has since declared tomorrow, 30th of March as Eid-ul-fitr.
The kingdom made the disclosure via its verified X platform, @haramaininfo on Saturday.
The tweets reads: “The crescent moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia. #EidAlFitr will be celebrated on Sunday, 30th March 2025.
” May Allāh accept our siyām, qiyām & a’māl & may He allow us to witness many more Ramadāns in good health. Āmīn.”
The United Arab Emirates, UAE has also declared tomorrow, Saturday as first day Shawwal
