The Governing Council of the University of Lagos,(UNILAG) has announced the appointment of Prof. Sade Ogunsola as the 13th Substantive Vice Chancellor of the institution .
The tenure of the incumbent t Vice Chancellor, Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe will expire on Nov 11,2022.
The New VC Ogunsola will assume position formally in November.
Before her emergence,she was Provost of the College of Medicine, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development and Services) two tenure.
The 64 year Old Professor is an alumnus of the prestigious University of Lagos.
She also acted as the Vice Chancellor during the crises period between the Dr Wale Babalakin Council and the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe.
