The All Progressives Congress, APC, National Youth leader, Dayo Israel during the weekend made strategic move to wade into the impasse between the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU and the Federal Government over the ongoing strike.
Isreal, was seen in a short video making enquiries from the Minster of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige at his Abuja residence on the government’s efforts to bring the strike to end.
Vreporters gathered from the video obtained from Israel’s social media time-line on Sunday that the Minister was reeling out government’s frantic efforts to addressed the issues raised by ASUU.
The optimistic APC Youth leader assured teeming Nigerian Students that, the industrial action embark upon by ASUU will be suspended in this month of July.
“The All I also spoke to the Chairman of the Wage, Income and Salaries Commission through the Ministers Phone. I can inform Nigerians that a counter offer to ASUU has been put together by the FG and will be presented to Mr President this week” .
