Barely four days to the expiration of two weeks mid semester break announced by the management of Obafemi Awolowo University, the school has extended the break by four weeks.
The extension of the break was contained in a release signed by the Registrar, M.I Omosule which was made available to Vreporters on Thursday.
Recall that the authorities of OAU had declared mid semester break on 26th of March, which according to the earlier release took effect from 28th of the same month and expected to lapse on 11th of April, 2022.
The release cited the import and the impact of the strike action embarked upon by the Academic unions as the reason behind the extension of the break.
