Revealed! Nigeria, 140 Other Countries Demand Immediate Withdrawal of Russian Forces in Ukraine, as 35 Countries Abstain From Voting (Full List)

Details of the countries that voted for, against and those who maintained neutrality during the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday have emerged.

Majority of the members overwhelmingly adopted a resolution that “demands” Russia “immediately” withdraw from the war-torn Ukraine.

After more than two days of extraordinary debate, which saw the Ukrainian ambassador accuse Russia of genocide, Nigeria and 140 out of 193 United Nations member states voted for the non-binding resolution.

China was among the 35 countries which abstained, while just five – Eritrea, North Korea, Syria, Belarus and of course Russia – voted against it.
