UD Almeria star, Sadiq Umar has spoken on the chances missed yesterday during a clash between Super Eagles of Nigerian and their dogged opponent, Guinea-Bissau.
The Super Eagles Forward spoke in a post match interview granted earlier this morning, Umar admitted that, the game was though while noting that, the moment he was on the pitch with his team mates was a special moment for him and his family.
Asked how he felt when he was missing chances, Umar said, he tried to maintain his calmness and believed that, he would surely get it right.
The former Roma starlet rose to prominence in Nigerian football circles as part of the squad to the 2016 Rio Olympics football event, starring as Samson Siasia’s side claimed a bronze medal.
